1. What is Point2 Agent? Point2 Agent provides a comprehensive software solution that eases the marketing burden for the real estate professional. Online advertising, printable listing brochures and lead incubation are a few examples of Member benefits that are automated through the easy-to-use online interface.
Point2 Agent is a complete listing syndication solution for REALTORS® that includes a network of over 30 online partners—including Zillow, Trulia, Homescape, Point2 Homes and more—the largest syndication network available in the marketplace today.
Point2 Agent is also a website solution for brokers and agents. MLS Subscribers have the ability to create a standard website through a Point2 Agent Online Account. You now also have the ability to make a listing search available from your website that interfaces with Realcomp's IDX listing database.
2. How Does Point2 Agent Benefit Realcomp Brokers and Agents? Realcomp's new partnership with Point2 provides every Realcomp broker and agent with the Point2 Agent Listing Syndication tool enabling you to publish your property listings (from the IDX database) to more than 30 different Point2 Syndication Partner websites at no additional cost. The websites are updated automatically at least once every 24 hours.
Previously, most brokers and agents had to update their listings in the Point2 network individually and manually—a tedious and time consuming task. You are now able to syndicate your listings automatically, eliminating the need for you to perform manual updates, saving you time and effort. Additionally, you will receive reports and leads from the Internet traffic that your listings generate!
Also, Realcomp brokers and agents have the opportunity to create Point2 websites and online accounts at no additional cost. These powerful options enable you to achieve a professional presence on the Internet for reaching consumers.
3. How Do I Get Started with the Point2 Agent Services?
It all starts with an invitation from Point2 Technologies.
The invitation enables you to first setup a Listing Syndication Dashboard account, which is how Realcomp users need to get started with Point2. Even if you already have a Point2 account that was started previous to Realcomp's partnership with them (which began near the end of 2008), you will need to start with a new Listing Syndication Dashboard account, since this helps to identify you to Point2 Technologies as a Realcomp subscriber and enables you to obtain their standard services at no additional cost.

Once your invitation arrives in your e-mail inbox, please read the instructions carefully and perform the outlined steps. Once you have created your Listing Syndication Dashboard account, you will be able to control the Point2 syndication partner websites to which your listings (from Realcomp) will be disseminated.
Additionally, you will have the ability to create a "full-featured" Point2 Agent account, which will provide you with comprehensive syndication report options (that are not offered through the dashboard account). You will also gain the ability to access statistics for tracking and assessing the effectiveness of your listings being advertised on the syndication partner websites.
You will also have the ability to combine a previously created Point2 account with the new one created through the Realcomp link. This will allow you to avoid having to pay fees for Point2's standard services.

5. How Can I Add a Realcomp-Point2 IDX Listing Search Widget (MLS Listings) to My Point2 Agent Website? Simply follow the instructions outlined in the "Point2 Agent Website Search Module Tip Sheet".
6. Is there a Charge for the Point2 Agent Service? No - not for Realcomp MLS Subscribers. Through Realcomp's agreement with Point2, Realcomp is providing the standard Point2 Agent service to Realcomp MLS Subscribers at no additional cost.
Realcomp Subscribers who receive notice from Point2 regarding costs for this service should disregard the message. Standard service fees do not apply to Realcomp MLS Subscribers. If your Point2 Agent service is inadvertently turned-off for non-payment, please contact Realcomp's Customer Care Department and we will assist you in getting this resolved.
