What is Property Descriptive Data? This could be any of the fields that are available in PRD, such as Living Area Square Feet, Year Built, Exterior, Stories, Bedrooms, Baths, Garage Type, Acres, etc. What we obtain from CoreLogic is completely dependent on the county or municipality that is the source of the data. We get new properties every season – vacant land that has just been divided, a new home in a subdivision that has just been assessed, etc.
How can you use this data? Here's one example: Maybe you have a customer who's interested in buying a vacation home in the area. With inventory being low and choices limited, maybe you use the data to do a postcard mailing to home owners that meet specific criteria (decided by you). Someone who's been thinking about selling may very well respond knowing you are already working with a motivated buyer for a home just like theirs.
Public Record Data for the entire lower peninsula (68 counties in all) is just one of the many services you receive with your Realcomp subscription ... know how to take FULL advantage of them.
