Realcomp's MLS policies require Realcomp REALTORS® who have "long-term" pending listings (listings that have remained in that status for more than 120 days) to notify us every 30 days that these listings are still pending or update them to their new status (i.e. sold, back-on-market, etc).
We understand short sales and new construction listings may take longer to close than other types of listings. That is why these listings can remain in the pending status for 180 days (rather than 120) before the requirement to notify Realcomp applies.
To notify Realcomp that your listings are still pending, simply follow the steps outlined in the following tip sheet: Long-Term Pending Listing Notification Process.
These steps must be taken for every long-term pending listing, once every 30 days until these listings close or undergo some other status change. Taking no action at all will result in a fine of $37.50 being assessed (per pending listing).
This policy exists to ensure you have the most accurate MLS database possible. The fines are easily avoided by either updating the status of your long-term pending listings or by notifying us that the status has not changed.
Thank you in advance for addressing any long-term pending listings you have in your listing inventory.
