Got a Listing with Little to No Traffic? Try Reverse Prospecting

Did you know “reverse prospecting” is a tool that is available from the My Listings section of RCO3^_® that can actually help you find agents (who have clients) that may be a match for your listing? If you have listings currently that have had little to no buyer traffic, this RCO3^® function may be worth looking at.

Simply pull up your listing (through "My RCO" and "My Listings") and click the “Reverse Prospect” button, which appears at the bottom of the screen. You’ll then see a list of other agents who have saved auto e-mail search criteria (presumably for their buyers) that match your listing. To find out more about what those buyers think of your listing, we encourage you to contact the buyers’ agents listed in the report.

Buyers’ agents always have the choice of “opting out” of the reverse search function (by unchecking the reverse prospecting option) when they save their auto e-mail/criteria. However, when they don’t, this powerful tool can actually help agents to collaborate on matching listings to buyers, just as auto e-mails help to match buyers to listings.
